I don't have the details on who made it. it was handed down from my husbands family. we were told at one point that it was valuable. i believe the condition is good.

American, possibly New England, mid-late 19th Century
With carved crest and back enclosing a wine-colored upholstered back and seat with needlepoint floral decoration, raised on turned front legs on casters.
Overall height: 36 inches; greatest width: 18 inches
CONDITION: this chair appears to be in good condition; the upholstery is probably an old replacement.
