Beckman Players Piano Late 1800's Circa. Completely restored from the inside out.
I attained it privately
This is an antique to vintage early 20th century player piano, it is not from the 1800s. The Beckman Piano Company was active in New York only from 1910 - 1930. The Depression put them out of business. Their player pianos were decent quality and affordably priced. Beckman Player Pianos were sold through Spiegel, May & Stern Company, a chain store and catalogue business. The style and form of yours dates it to just about 1930. Working player pianos are great fun and quite the novelty in any setting; however they are a 'hard sell' on the market. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary. It is recommended to try consigning through a piano dealer such as http://antiquepianoshop.com/sell-your-instrument/ They value fully restored player pianos at $20,000-$25,000 and they have a consignment program.
