Hi Miguel,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It's unusual for clockmakers not to sign their movements but this appears to be a 19th Century French or English example. Collectors in the clock market today typically want clocks signed by known makers, so the value and desirability of unsigned clocks is less than what it might otherwise be. Related unsigned skeleton clocks of comparable age, complexity of movement and size usually bring prices ranging from $2,500-3,500 when sold at auction in recent months and years.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A Victorian brass fusee skeleton clock with great wheel
English or French, 19th Century
With silvered dial with ebonized Roman numeral chapter rings and fusee movement, on four turned feet; on an original velvet-lined wood base and glass dome.
45 cm (17-3/4 inches) high, 36 cm (14-1/8 inches) wide
CONDITION: This clock appears to be in generally good condition
PROVENANCE: Inherited
$2,500-3,500*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
