This is an antique Victorian air, convertible, pendant brooch in excellent functional condition. It features a gold filagree work and a border of red gemstones, possibly garnets. The brooch is housed in a red velvet circular box printed with M Strauss, 408–4 12 Fulton St., Brooklyn. There are no missing gemstones. The back of the brooch has no markings a magnet does not stick to the back or the front of the brooch, the pin mechanism works with a C clasp and the top loop folds down flat to slide onto a necklace chain.
