In excellent condition. In 18K yellow gold. Enameld edge. Raised decoration around the front edge and portrait. Small diamond chips decorate the pendant and left earring of the portrait and another gemstone (very light green) at the portraits right shoulder. Portrait is protected but I'm not sure wif the material is glass or plastic. Marked on the back 18K 1847. The weight is 10.9 grams. Bought by dealer who purchased a collection of similar items. Some of the other brooches were marked 'France' with none marked as being from any other country (if that helps).
