My grandmother found this chair at an antique store decades ago. It has a couple scuffs, otherwise great condition. Not sure if the material.

made by Nichols & Stone, Massachusetts, mid/late 20th Century
made for William & Mary College (Williamsburg, VA), the ebonized frame headed by a scrolled tablet crest centering a gilt shield depicting William and Mary College, over 6 ebonized spindles with faux-bamboo gilding, natural finish arms, ebonized seat, all raised on four faux-bamboo turned legs with an H-stretcher. Labeled.
Approximately 30 inches high, 20 inches wide, 22 inches deep
CONDITION: appears to be in generally good condition with some minor wear from age and use.
