Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a beautiful pair of earrings in the Art Deco style. Such jewellery are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
The mark that I can read on the back of the earring reads 1986 C JJ - I think these earrings may have been made in 1986 as a kind of souvenir from the Art Deco period and the 1930s. The material looks more like metal or perhaps pewter rather than sterlingsilver, however if you say there is a 925 mark on the earrings that means that they are made of sterling silver. The motif is typical of the 1930s style and also the shape of the earrings with the very simple frame underlining the lovely motif. It is a lovely pair of earrings however not quite as old as the style they are depicting which affects the value of them.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the Art Deco style earrings has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the earrings. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
