We don't know the history of the hutch. We bought it from the estate sale of a friend. It's in very good condition. It's made of wood with pink marble pieces on top. There is also a mirror in the middle and two glass display cases on either side.

This piece combines elements of Chinese furniture making with some Westernized motifs that suggest to me that it was made in China for the Western market.

An antique Chinese Art Deco style sideboard commode
First half 20th Century
Centering a shaped mirror flanked by rectangular glazed cabinet raised on a stepback case topped with black-and-pink marble panels, centering a short drawer over two paneled cupboard doors flanked on either side with larger cabinet doors with relief carved foliate decoration, on flaring pedestal bases. Unmarked.
Overall height: 63-66 inches; width: 72 inches; depth: 20 inches
CONDITION: This appears to be in good condition.
