24K gold, acid Tested I was told in an Asian arts Facebook group that it was Chinese, and that it was more than likely made by a local as a gift to a visiting priest/missionary, sometime after the ban of Christianity. Very soft and malable

A 22k Gold Crucifix, 20th Century possibly Macao,
the front embossed with Christ on the cross the reverse embossed with foliate motifs.
Gold needs testing for purity but 24k is too soft for jewellery
