A mixed set of plates and bowls
Previously owned by my brother... I inherited when he passed.
Dear Robin,
Thank you so much providing the additional photos. Your collection of Chinese bowls appear to come from various periods. The larger bowls are from the Qing Dynasty (1611-1912), 17th- 18th century, they are made out of stoneware and are decorated with hand painted stylized lotus flower design. These bowls are in good condition, based on their age and are marked on the bottoms with hand painted chop marks. The smaller rice or soup bowls in the collection would date from the 20th century and are hand painted with stylized designs inspired by nature. They are marked on the underside with a printed, or stamped chop mark, which indicates a later date. Bases on price realizations from sales of items similar to yours, a fair market value would be 150-500 dollars per item. The Qing Dynasty bowls being of higher value than the others. Thank you again for choosing Mearto for your appraisal.

Thank you so much!
Hi Morgan,
I've added a couple more pictures of the back of the plates and bowls. I'm not sure that the bowls are part of the collection - it looks like they all have the same markings (the bowls)... There are 15 pieces in all - 5 bowls, 4 platters, and 6 plates. The plates are about 6.5" in diameter; the platters are about 5.25" in diameter.
Thanks so much!
