The watch belonged to my grandfather. I have no idea what year it was made or when he bought it, although I'm thinking it's late 1800s. On the inside of the closure, there are engravings of the number 165, the manufacturer, Audemars Freres, and something else I can't make out. I think the watch might have been a limited edition. It's all gold, although I have no idea what the karat is. It's in excellent condition and is still sheathed in a leather pouch.
