Hi Allan,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The 1987 Detroit Tigers were a standout team in Major League Baseball, finishing first in the American League East with a 98-64 record. Managed by Sparky Anderson, the team featured key players like Alan Trammell, who had an MVP-caliber season, and Jack Morris, their ace pitcher. Known for their resilience, the Tigers battled their way to the ALCS but ultimately lost to the Minnesota Twins, falling short of a World Series appearance.
There have been few team-signed collectibles that have come to market from any year and those that have - largely baseballs, bats and the occasional team photo; once you narrow it down by year, the number of findable records shrinks to just baseballs, all for less than $500.
I haven't found this version of the 1987 Miller Detroit Tigers calendar but examples - other clubs, other years - can be purchased for less than $100.
Combining all of these elements, this calendar would appear to be worth $400-600
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
