This is a smoked glass barware/punch set with six glasses , a pitcher, and a stirrer. We think we bought this in the 60s, but it could be later. Almost certainly Scandinavian designer, we think, but we do not recall and we do not know how to determine value. We are unable to find another set like this. It is in pristine condition.
We are the original owners and do not recall ever using it. It may have been a gift, but so long ago we just do not recall.
Hi Paul,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
A lot of Scandinavian modern designers - Iittala, Howard Elliot, Silber Schmeide - were producing glassware with that very distinctive block foot. I would not be surprised if these were marked - even very discretely - on the bottom with the maker's name but if they are not that suggests to me that these are knockoffs and of relatively modest value. I've valued them accordingly so if you find a name or mark please let me know so I can revise the appraisal and likely increase the value.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
