The presented object appears to be an oil on paper abstract painting, which has a wooden border (not frame) and is signed in the lower right corner of the composition. The work measures approximately 22.5 x 19 inches and looks to be in excellent condition. It is attributed to the artist Bassem Dahdouh (Syrian, b. 1964), but we have not seen documentation of provenance, therefore are providing a conditional valuation. This online appraisal does not serve as a warranty or guarantee of authenticity.
Based on recently achieved auction results for this artist, I would estimate the current fair market value to be $15,000 to $20,000, though retail and asking prices may vary. Auction house estimates have been much higher, but for larger figurative works. I believe that the demand for an abstract work such as this would be somewhat lower.
