Thank you for contacting Mearto. This is a batik fabric piece. Batik dying is an Indonesian art practice and this piece is likely from that region. It is difficult to give a date, but from condition it is likely from the 20th or perhaps late 19th century. The Fair Market Value is between $50 and $150.
