Bisque Porcelain Figurine Mother and Son Gold Gilt Trim Germany
I believe this figurine is bisque porcelain. It measures approximately 3" front-to-back, 4.25" side-to-side, and 7" high. This piece weighs approximately 11.4 ounces. "Germany" is stamped in red ink on the base. On the backside (left near base) the number 3635 is engraved. The 6 is larger than the other numerals.
I found this at a nice thrift store so I have no idea about the provenance.

This piece is not hallmarked but could be made in a small workshop in Thuringia in the early 20th century. This region had many smaller porcelain manufacturers who produced decorative porcelain.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
