What does this mean?

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry, and I apologize for the delay. This is a U.S. Navy officer's sword made in West Germany for sale by N.S. Meyer in New York post World War Two. This sword and all of its accessories are in excellent condition. The blade and etching shows no corrosion, or damage, and the wrapping of the handle is also in excellent shape. The sheath and leather casing is also flawless. Given the condition of this piece, and completed auctions of similar items, a fair market estimation is 425-450 dollars. Please reach out with any questions.
