I am not quite sure what the material is - whether it is silver with a gilding or whether it is gold. Are there any marks or do you know the material?

My appraisal is assuming the ring is made of 14 kt gold with a onyx in the center flanked by 2 smaller diamonds. If the ring is made of eg. gilded silver the price will be lower.
The ring has a classic design and is both elegant and modern.

The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the onyx ring has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the cocktail onyx ring. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
