Bought it at an estate sale in North West Arkansas. The deceased was a world traveler, and collector of all sorts of art. It was told to me by her son (holding the sales that were held on multiple weekends due to the amount of art stored in storage buildings on property) that the property itself was also for sale. All 700 hundred acres. I looked up public record for the home and her Son's name was on deed. So, I don't even know her name. Is there any image I can take/share with you to help?
Could you try taking the signature from a slightly lower angle so I can see the contour of the lower part of the letters? That's the only thing I can think of that might help. Much appreciated!!
Thanks for the additional photos Becky. I still can't make out the inscription well enough to link this to any specific studio but dont think you can take any better photos than you already have. Somethings don't always gets identified. I've appraised this slightly higher than I would have an unsigned vase; you're all set otherwise.
