What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a set of five so called "collectors plates" issued by Chinese Imperial Jingdezhen Porcelain Factory. The plates were in designed in 1986 and 1987 and sold to subscribers, quite similar to companies like Bradex or Franklin. The plates are transfer printed and were issued in large numbers. Collector plates were highly sought after in the 1980s and early 1990s. The estimate is based on recent auction results. Retail prices are approx 15-20 US $ each today.
