Hello Elaine,
I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal,
Considering the photographs, overall pattern, porcelain quality and the colours, I concluded that this is an Entrely Hand Painted Goebel and Hummel Porcelain Bisquit figurine. The piece dates back to the period from 1950 to 1959. The piece is characterized by a depiction of a boy playing a wind instrument, likely a clarinet or a type of flute. The piece is coloured with modest tones, creating a mood that anticipates that the boy is a street musician. The boy is depicted with red cheek bones and closed eyes. The piece wears a late victorian brown hat. The piece was made in Germany, with serial numbers of 7 and 85/0. The mark of the piece suggest the depicted period. The piece is in good condition without any visible problems, chips or cracks.
