This is a brand new Medallion Design Isfahan Rug, purchased from Shanti Rug Isfahan Rug in Esfahan, Iran. It is a mixture of peacock and paisley patterns in shades of primarily blue, cream, and red, with accents of green, yellow, tan, pink, and brown. The exact weaver is not known, but it is a handmade, color-fast rug made with 80% silk / 20% lamb's wool and a 120 per square centimeter knot count.
