Hello Fadel,
Thank you for sending in your wristwatch to mearto.com for n appraisal. I will try my best to help you with that today.
Title:
Gent’s, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with date, round button chronograph, registers, tachometer, telemeter, slide rule and stitched brown leather strap with 18K yellow gold Breitling buckle, “Chronometre Navitimer” model, No. 133, case no. 6611072, ref. K23322, made by Breitling, Switzerland, circa 2006. Accompanied by original box and paperwork.
Case: 42 mm diameter, three leaf, round, solid, polished 18k yellow gold watch case, lapidated concave lugs, bidirectional revolving bezel, screwed-down case back with Breitling logo, engraved with the temperature conversion scale from Celsius to Fahrenheit, number of this watch, case number and reference number and marked for Breitling, sapphire crystal and matched with a brown leather stitched strap with 18k gold greeting buckle.
Dial: Bi-color white and gold dial with applied luminous baton gold hour indices, bar minutes/seconds track divided into quarters of a second, gilt subsidiary dials for the seconds @9, the 12-hour @6 and 30-minute @3 registers, outer graduations for the telemeter and slide-rule, and aperture for the date @ 22/23 minute markers. Luminous yellow gold baton hands and counterbalanced center seconds chronograph hand with red tip. The dial is marked, “Breitling, Chronometre Navitimer”.
Movement: Not shown but assumed to be the Breitling Cal. 23, a rhodium-plated, 25 jewel, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator with the dial, case and movement triple signed.
Condition: Case – Very good to excellent with only superficial spotty marks. Dial – Excellent. Movement – Assumed genuine, original to this case and fully functional.
Pricing: I am finding it almost impossible to get a price on this watch. Obviously quite sought after and difficult to find. I have found a couple of examples having sold in the $5000-$6000 range between 2012 and 2016. I did manage to find a retail price of $13000+. So, in its present superb condition I am going to price this example between $10000-$12000 with perhaps a retail value of about $15000 as I picture it today.
$10000-$12000 = 9070 Euros -10885 Euros (with the Euro at $1.10245 today).
I hope that this appraisal matches your own understanding of your wonderful chronograph. The valuation assigned must be in American dollars.
Thank you for using Mearto.com.
