6 all same. Sending pic of one. Half inch. Think plastic
War, branch, what it represents
Dear Marsha,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The presented object appears to be a set of six buttons made out of plastic with an added golden color with unknown measurements. The button depicts a female head to the left and some arched decor. The portrait reminds me of coins, which were often used as buttons to show the richness of the carrier. The fact that these buttons are made from plastic and don't show a national symbol or name a nation or army part indicates that these buttons don't come from a military background. They are probably made in the middle or second half of the 20th century. Regarding the material it could be useful to test if they are magnetic.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 0 to 4 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
George
