Cameo pendant set in 10k, 3cm long, 2.3cm wide, 0.5 cm depth

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a lovely vintage cameo pendant set in what looks like to be 10 kt yellow gold. The design and portrait of the woman on the cameo is typical of this type of jewellery from the early 1900s. The decoration on the gold border is very delicate and matches the cameo portrait in an elegant way. It appears to be in good condition.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the cameo pendant has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the cameo. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
Thank you
Thank you for your comment. I have not been able to find a goldsmith mark that resembles the C in a circle. It does resemble the C in a circle for copyright however that would mean that the cameo pendant is a replica, and this is not the impression I have based on the photos.
Kind regards
Thank you for your appraisal. I am curious, what does the hallmark before the 10k stamp mean? It looks like a C surrounded in a circle. Or what is it? Do you know?
