Hi Francis,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
This is a French centerpiece bowl; the presence of candle cups is more often seen on silver (or other metal) centerpiece bowls so this is a bit unusual. It dates to the mid to late 19th Century and would likely bring between $300-500 if sold at auction. Note this will most likely be less expensive than it might be priced at by a dealer or in a gallery.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
An antique French gilt brass and glass centerpiece candelabra bowl
19th Century
The tripod circular frame with brass ring issuing three C-scrolled candlearms and cuff-style bobeche, holding a crackle-blown glass bowl, on three ball feet. Unmarked.
6 inches greatest height (top of bowl), greatest diameter 9-1/2 inches (between candlecups).
CONDITION: This appears to be in generally good condition with minor oxidation commensurate to age and use.
PROVENANCE: Acquired from a dealer or gallery
$300-500*
