What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your items for appraisal. These appear to be two 1940s -1960s paintings from Paris, depicting Paris street Scenes in the Montmarte area with Sacré Coeur in the distance. One painting is signed "Cantreau" and the other is signed "L de Boes", both artists are not listed. The names could be pseudonyms or the artists just simply never exhibited and left a trace. Paris street Scene paintings are very much in demand. The estimate is based on similar paintings by lesser known artists offered or sold at auction. "Asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary.
