What does this mean?

Dear Susan,

Thank you for your request. The presented object is a painting made in acrylic or oil paint on board with the measurements of 26,5 x 16 inches. It depicts a village scene with some staffage figurines in the foreground and houses in the background. The architectural details are a hint for a location to Great Britain or the cultural context of the Commonwealth. This painting is not signed and was probably made in the first half of the 20th century.
Sadly there are many little damages to the board.
An estimation would be between 10 to 20 AUD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.

With best regards,
Georg
