It is a beautiful pair of sterlingsilver cufflinks. Such vintage designer accessories and jewellery are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
The cufflinks from Cartier are known as the Diabolo model and comes with many variations. This is a particular nice example made of sterlingsilver with a gold screw as decoration. They appear to be in very good condition without signs of wear and use. The fact that you have the original box adds to the value. However despite the fact that they were bought from new and perhaps haven't been used the price will be lower than the retail price.
When designer items turn up at auction they usually get a lot of attention and I believe that your pair of cufflinks would attract the attention of both collectors and dealers if they came up for auction.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the Cartier cufflinks has the best chance of realising its fullest potential.
