Spanish baroque carved wood library desk with clawed feet. Two locking drawers on each side and one in the middle. The knobs on two of the drawers are missing, as are the keys. There are scratches from cats on some of the wood. There is a matching chair with a low back.
Acquired from a family member many years ago. They brought it from Spain when they moved to the U.S.
Dear Lynn,
Thank you for your request. The appraised object is a desk with a chair probably made in the 20th century. Both pieces of furniture are decorated with a floral ornament or decor orientated to Spanish baroque decors. The set is in good condition and no damages are visible.
An estimation would be between 250 to 500 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
