The painting measures about 31 x 34 overall. It has been shown in the Gilcrease Museam in Tulsa, the Ashby-Hodge Gallery of American Art in Mo. as well as in a number of smaller shows. I have a file on this painting including a letter from Charles Banks Wilson in 1994, wherein he tried to repurchase it "for sentimental reasons". I also have several coffee table books about Wilson's work which include this painting and can be included with the sale. Mr. Wilson was declared an "Oklahoma Treasure" during the 2001 Oklahoma Governor's arts awards.
Mr. Wilson taught art at the NE Oklahoma College in Miami, Ok. While there, he created this painting and later gifted it to his friend, John Wallace.
