Blown glass approximately 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 3 1/2".
In mid 1950's, I visited Seattle and ate at the Icon Grill. I loved their blown glass decor and was directed to a small shop where I purchased this item. I was advise that it was blown by Dale Chihuly.

Again, this was purchased in the early 1950's. Was he famous at that time?
Hi Diana,
Chihuly was born in 1941, so he would have been VERY young to have made this prior to your purchase of it in the early 1950s. There were glassmakers working in Seattle in the 1950s whose style Chihuly initially emulated; he would become its most prominent protege and develop his own individual style, retaining elements of his early training throughout his career.
It is not signed. I believe that this was very early in his career and perhaps he didn't sign all of his early pieces.
