Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a late Qing Dynasty vase of hexagonal shape, decorated by hand in the year 1900 by a sixty year old (?) artist , signed WEN. Where it was painted has been erased by the artist, also a chinese character above the bushes. The painting of foliage ends abruptly, which might indicate that the flaring opening was cut down in size many years ago. The estimate is based on auction results of similar vases offered or sold at auction. "Asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary.
