This was imported from China in the 1960s by my mother in law. It’s 1 of 6 pieces to the bedroom set. It’s in good condition.

Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Chinese export Georgian hardstone inlaid dressing cabinet
unattributed maker, purportedly made in China, mid 20th Century
Of square section, the upper section with two cabinet doors opening to a divided interior with two open shelves next to a stack of three sliding drawers, the lower section with four long drawers, all on short straight legs. The front (and sides?) with applied hardstone decoration in landscape scenes with figures.
Approximately 72 inches tall
CONDITION: This dressing cabinet appears to be in good condition
PROVENANCE: Inherited

In 99.9% of these, its not jade but other jade-like hard stones.
If you've had this tested and can demonstrate (with documentation of a lab test) that this is actually jade, yes, the value would increase if ALL the hardstone is jade (one or two small pieces would not make a difference).
