Hi, I bought this item in Lhasa, Tibet in 2005. Its a very long scroll with drawings and text that I assume describe life in a town. Its made of paper, it looks and feel old, and is in fairly good condition.
The item was bought on street market. No info other than that.
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This is a modern forgery of Zhao Mengfu's Qingming River map 赵孟頫的清明上河图. Identical black and white prints, coloured with tea to add some "age", appear again and again at auctions and on street markets, only the red chopmarks differ a little. This scroll has a decorative or sentimental value only, no art market value at all as it was made to deceive the buyer.
