Among many other invitational assignments, Trella was at Cape Kennedy for the Apollo 7 Space launch, the work resulting in a cover reproduction of her painting in the United States Naval Institute Proceedings Magazine.

Thanks for this, and for the information. I've looked at RoGallery's website for the artist and while "Floral Still Life with Apple" is a great comparable to your painting, it did not sell at the estimate (asking retail price?) of $3,500-4,500 and starting price of $2,600, four years ago.
Further internet research has turned up a seadscape that sold on eBay for about $750 - here's the link- (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Oil-Painting-Chris-Trella-Koczwara-American-1945-2005-Seascape-/142896280216).
Given that there are no auction records for the artist I am inclined to be conservative and estimate this at $800-1,200.
