Oil on canvas. Huge painting. 240 x 100 cm On the cross above Christ's head stands the year 1603 (as seen on the photo). The canvas was folded multiple times some time in the past, as witnessed by horizontal lines. Origin unknown. I guess it was taken from a church some time in the past.

Dear Marin,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay with the appraisal.
The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil paint on canvas with
inches measurements. The painting depicts a crucifixion scene with Maria and Maria Magdalena. The size and the motif indicate that this painting was made for a church as an altarpiece.
It was heavily restored and most of the surface of the painting were renewed. It is dated 1603.
Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in bad condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 200 to 600 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
Gregory
Hi Gregory, thank you for the appraisal but there seems to be a glitch of some kind - I can't access it. Please help.
