The figurine appears to be made of ceramic or porcelain, given its glossy finish and the nature of similar collectible figurines. It depicts Cinderella in her iconic blue ball gown, which seems to be adorned with glitter, suggesting a possible additional material for decoration. The dimensions of the figurine are not directly provided, but based on typical figurine sizes, it can be estimated to be around 8-10 inches in height, with a base diameter of approximately 4-5 inches. These measurements are estimates and may vary slightly.
Hi Justin,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
This is a Walt Disney Princess Porcelain Cinderella Glitter Dress Figurine, which was produced in Sri Lanka around 1998. While the exact manufacturer isn't definitively identified, one notable Sri Lankan porcelain company, Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC, had collaborated with Disney prior to that and, in 2001, they produced a special commemorative plate for Disney's 100th anniversary. However, there is no direct evidence linking Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC to the production of the 1998 Cinderella figurines.
When these come to auction, they usually sell for between $40-60 ($80-120 if in their original packaging)
