Windsor" clarinets marked with "Elkhart, Indiana" were produced by the Elkhart Band Instrument Company, a collaborative venture established in 1923 by executives from two prominent instrument manufacturers: Buescher and C.G. Conn. The Windsor line was introduced around 1937 as a more affordable option, targeting students and amateur musicians. These instruments were manufactured between 1937 and 1942.
