The item appears to be an offset lithograph (or possibly a giclée) on canvas, rather than a painting. This reproduction print on canvas depicts "The Basin at Argenteuil" by Claude Monet (French; 1840 - 1926), originally painted in 1874. The painting is also known as "Sailboats at the Basin at Argenteuil." The original painting is in the collection at RISD Museum in Providence, RI.
