We believe the table to be mahogany. It has a leather top and brass claw feet. There is a very small chip, approx 3/16 of an inch on the long side. This is shown in pics. There are #'s chalked (?) on the bottom (shown) but no manufacturers label. It was given to us by our elderly neighbor, who has since passed away.

Hi Linda,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
This table copies the aesthetic of the Regency period, which exudes elegant refinement, classical inspiration, and exotic flair. Influenced by Greek, Roman, and Egyptian motifs, it emphasizes symmetry, clean lines, and restrained ornamentation. Mahogany dominates, often polished to a lustrous finish, complemented by ebony, brass, or gilt accents.
Functional yet decorative, Regency pieces balance luxury with simplicity. Overall, the style combines architectural rigor, international influences, and subtle opulence, bridging Georgian formality and Victorian grandeur.
Your table is a 20th Century copy; there were several makers who were working in the Colonial Revival style who could have made this, including Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Thomas Moser, Bigelow Kennard & Co, Baker, Duncan Phyfe and Ethan Allen, among others.
Based on the auction results for comparable pieces, if this were to be offered at auction, this would probably sell for less than $500, probably between $300 and $500. It's worth noting that private sellers or retailers will be asking higher prices than that.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
