This is a late 20th century rendition copy of the 1654 painting by Rembrandt entitled 'A Woman Bathing in a Stream'. Your work is signed Ernst. There is one listed artist, Elizabeth Ernst (1909-1997) from Australia who fits the timeline; however this work does not quite match her style nor signature. This was likely done by an unlisted hobbyist artist. Furthermore, from the images provided here, this appears to be a printed copy of the work by Ernst and not the original by Ernst. The estimate presumes this is a printed copy and utilizes actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
