Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a pair of mesh wire safety goggles or motorist goggles of the first quarter 20th century. The material appears to be fabrikoid, an artificial leather, the white fabric with the "drink coca cola in bottles" appears to be cotton, the typography appears to be early 20th century. During the early 20th century Coca Cola was mostly sold in fountain form, the idea to sell it in bottles slowly developped and the iconic bottle was only created in 1915. I couldn´t locate any identical pair of goggles, this may either be a DIY job of the early 20th century or an early advertising gimmick by one of the Coca Cola bottlers for motorists to promote the drink ( which would be plausible). The estimate can only be vague, a true Coca Cola collector might be willing to pay more than the high estimate.
Thank you! I haven't been able to find a pair myself. I'm going to see if I can find a specialist in the Coca-Cola area. I'm fascinated at their history :-)
