Hooked carpets sell based on size, quality, condition, age and imagery. Your example is of a generous size, is circa 1930, appears to require a light cleaning but also appears free from any major damage or bleaching from the sun and additionally has a very comely composition.
Currently at auction, similar hooked rugs featuring animals (rather than landscape or geometric scenes) are selling in the range of $200 - $300USD with the occasional piece superseding that range to the $400 range and even higher when the design strikes a cord with bidders.
