Hi Sally Ann,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It's not entirely clear when or why Cognac Camus used painted metal (bronze?) figures for an advertising campaign but these are six of the figures used in that campaign. These come to auction from time to time, usually selling in the $200-300 range. They are generally believed to have been done in the mid 20th Century.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A set of six Cognac Camus painted bronze figures
made in China, mid 20th Century
Each depicting a man with bare torso and black wide-legged pants, four with cloth belts, in various martial arts poses, on rectangular plinth bases inscribed "COGNAC CAMUS."
Between 4 and 4-1/2 inches tall
CONDITION: These are in good condition; two lack their cloth belts.
PROVENANCE: Inherited
$ 200-300 for the set*
