This is one of the more well-known images by the lightly listed 20th century French artist, Hortense Pironin. The image is entitled Coin de Port Trebul. This image was commissioned to publishers and multiple framed color print lithographs were produced of this image and sold through decorator shops. A close-up of the label affixed to the backside has been requested and that will help determine if this is one of the prints of the original or the original painting itself. The close-ups do not yield any definitive information on such. The estimate here is based on this being a framed color print reproduction and utilizes recent past auction records of comparables.
