I have a set of dishes for 12 people including dinner plates, salad plates, fruit bowls, cups and saucers along with a matching casserole dish and meat platter and gravy boat.
This was my grandmother’s set that she purchased many years ago. She has been dead for 40 years.
This is an antique, circa 1900, Victorian era, English color transferprinted china set by Copeland Spode in their Broom pattern. The fine china for dining market is currently slumped. Sets do not sell for what they used to sell for a few decades ago and the market was further impacted by the Recession. The estimate is for a 12-person place setting set with serving pieces and utilizes actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables.
Please add images of one of the pieces as well as a clear, in-focus photo of the marks.
