What does this mean?

This is an antique, circa 1900, Victorian era, English color transferprinted china set by Copeland Spode in their Broom pattern. The fine china for dining market is currently slumped. Sets do not sell for what they used to sell for a few decades ago and the market was further impacted by the Recession. The estimate is for a 12-person place setting set with serving pieces and utilizes actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables.
