My Dad was stationed in Turkey back in the 60's and brought an entire collection of these brass/copper teapots, plates, pitchers, raised platters, etc., They were almost black before he had an antique refurnisher polish and restore them without decreasing their value.
Thank you for submitting your items for appraisal. This appears to be a group of ottoman empire partly tinned copper kitchen items. All items are on a provincial level, made by unknown rural coppersmith of the late 19th to early 20th century. The 1882 dated plate bears an armenian inscription, which I am unfortunately not able to read. There is a big armenian community in the USA which migrated in several waves after 1890. This item might be of interest to this group. The estimate is based on auction results of similar groups of items sold or offered at auction. "Asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary.
