I believe you're right. Most of Tiedjen's auction records are modest, even a closely related example I found here (https://www.askart.com/Artist_Export.aspx?S=1&QID=351866&ALL=4920739 - not sure if you can access it without paying for a subscription) that had an estimate of about $500 and did not sell in 2018 but yours is a bit larger, which is, in my opinion, a better painting.

Hi Dehlia, I believe I found the painter of this piece.
Willy Tiedjen, was actually Carl Friedrich Emil Martin Wilhelm Tiedjen also Tiedgen or Tietjen. He was born in 1881, and was an animal, landscape, and marine painter.
