Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage German or Austrian cuckoo clock
unattributed maker, with Swiss musical movement, mid/late 20th Century
In the form of a mountain chalet with peaked roof, a balcony with rotating figures below a hinged door that opens when the cuckoo bird sings, the lower part of the building housing the black dial with white Roman numeral chapter rings, surrounded by a waterwheel, dogs and firewood on a stepped and molded base. The brass movement engraved "GM ???" / 25/76", with 3 pine-cone-form weights, chains and wooden pendulum. With original German factory label. Plays a tune.

Yes, it does play a tune and the dancers and wheel on the side of the chateau spin. Although I'm not sure what the tune is. I have a video recording if you'd like to hear it? And yes, we have the 3 pine cone shaped weights as well as the wood pendulum. The dimensions are approximately 12" W x 11" H.
